The Great Wall Of China Contestant Case Study You'll Never Forget

A young woman has become the center of jokes in Turkey after failing to answer an easy question: ‘Where is Great Wall of China?’. 

Su Ayhan, a 26-year-old student, who was on the Turkish version called ‘Kim Milyoner Olmak İster?’ (Who wants to be a millionaire), when she was presented with the question in the third round.



She was presented four options: China, India, Japan or South Korea.
Su ended up sacrificing two lifelines to answer the question.  Initially, the contestant sought the audience for help to answer the simple question. Unfortunately for her, only 51% said China. Then she decided to use phone a friend as the next lifeline.
The woman stood eliminated after failing to correctly answer a following question on the composer of a popular Turkish song.
Ahmet Hakan, a journalist for The Hürriyet Daily News, said: “I hope many people in the audience failed to answer the question thinking it was too easy to be asked, setting a trap.

“Otherwise, this huge ignorance problem cannot be solved, even with our new Education Minister Ziya Selçuk.”

Su has defended her actions by saying: “I could use my lifelines whenever I wanted.”
