Birthday for most children is an elaborate occasion with extra attention from parents, tons of friends and most of all a lot of gifts but the special day of a six-year-old boy in Tucson, Arizona turned gloomy when none of his friends arrived at the venue.
Teddy, who invited 32 of his classmates at a Peter Piper Pizza restaurant was left sad when not even a single one showed up. His mother, Sil Mazzini, was left heartbroken when she saw her little Teddy sitting all by himself on the big table with pizzas to be shared.
Mazzini told ABC 15 that though some of the invitees did inform her that their children would not be able to make it, but out of all 32 no one turned up. “I’m done with parties for a while,” Mazzini told the news company. To make up for Teddy, his mother sent the picture of him sitting on the table to a local journalist Nick VinZant, who then shared the picture on the facebook requesting people to wish the little boy for his birthday.
The Facebook post garnered more attention than was expected. Along with all the people who wished Teddy, many brand and companies also pitched in to make the day special for the little boy.
All the comments on the post made Teddy quite happy and he later put out a video to thank the people.
