How Kiren Rijiju's daughter made him to attend her school event

Like any other daughter in the world, Kiren Rijiju's daughter has a simple request for her father to attend an event at her school.

The Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal Pradesh says he attended a function at his daughter's school and also shared a video to show how she had intelligently convinced him to attend it.

"Papa, tomorrow is my grandparents' day. You must come tomorrow. Mama always comes to my school, sees the performance. She sees my dancing...the fish dance. But you never ever come to my school. How can that be, papa? My grandparents come to Delhi from far village," Rijiju's daugher says in the video.
To this, Rijiju responds saying that he will try to come. "[But] I am so busy these days. What to do?"
However, the minister's daughter had no plans of letting her father off the hook.
"You have office but just say to your boss that I have to come to my daughter's school. Then your boss can forgive you," came the reply to Rijiju's 'I-am-so-busy' comment.
Having a job that requires you to put in long hours can often lead to complaints from your family for missing out on several important occasions. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s job fell into a similar pattern, until his daughter managed convinced him to attend a school event.
Rijiju tweeted a video of his daughter entreating him to ask “his boss” for a day off so he could attend her “Grandparent’s Day” function. Like almost any other father, Rijiju had to oblige and then posted a picture with his daughter at her school as proof that he had attended the function. “She was too excited!” Rijiju wrote. The video of his daughter’s earnest request melted many hearts on twitter.
